CIBC RUN FOR THE CURE

This has become a weekly habit now.

Ok, another week has went by. What happened this week?

Last Sunday got to go see another hockey game with Pete, Ottawa and Toronto, this one was a lot more active then the last tuesday night one. This time we were sitting 4 rows behind the Toronto bench and yes...this time we were on the kiss o camera thing on the Jumbo tron...and we still did not kiss....he acted like we didn't see ourselves up there but the people behind us were poking us saying "thats you guys up there, thats you" then the camera turned on someone else after we wouldn't kiss. This time we knew there were other H&R employees there.

Monday morning went to work and Colette came over and said "how'd you enjoy the game lastnight?"....she saw us...she actually was sitting across the areana from us and saw pete stand up one time to let someone in our row so she saw us beforehand. Ottawa won again this time 3-2.

Monday night just went for a walk with Jo.

Tuesday ran down to the Sheration Four Points to pick up the tshirts at lunch and passed those around...they gave us all XL and its like a night dress on me. and they put Harris + Roome instead of the &...oh well.

Tuesday evening was the frist day of Learn to Run at the Running Room in bedford...it was so much fun. I went out after work and walked around till it started with Jo. Her friend from her work went to it was well. It was 1/2hour classroom and 1/2 hour outside...we did walk 2 run 1 x7. Then I got home around 820 or so and hopped in a shower cause me and Pete were going to see All the Kings Men at 930 and he was there to get me about 850...fastest I ever got ready.
It was an ok movie....another one over 2 hours long....ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. I actually didn't fall asleep at this one but I did have a really long blink, which I call the Peter Code blink..most of you know what I'm talking about....Pete was watching me and I did my long blink and when my eyes opened he leaned over and said "its ok, you can sleep if you want to" and I said "I wasn't sleeping, it was just a really long blink"....and I swear to this day I was not sleeping at that movie but I will admit that I did fall asleep at Daredevil when I went with Devin and G....I was sleeping then....I wonder if they knew?

Wednesday evening I ran up to CIBC and took up some peoples donations for the run and then went again on Thusday evening and took thre rest.

Thursday evening was our practice run for the running room cause we have to practice 2 more times (homework) so me, jo and another one went out, it was raining but we did it.

Friday night mom,dad,vonnie,zach and kerri came up cause dad and zach were going to MooseJaw this year and flying out on Sat morning at 6am ....everyone went to the airport but me...we were all up at 3am....Dad and Zach made it out there all fine. I kinda wiched I was going back again this year....I had fun lastyear out there. I guess its warmer out there this year its in the + degrees.

Saturday we took Vonnie over to dartmouth then came back and went around Bayers Lake then went to Jo's for supper and then home and went to bed around 9pm.

Sunday (today) is October 1 st and it was finally the CIBC Run for the Cure. Friday Ang asked me where the team was meeting and she suggested the fountain....so I sent out an email saying we'd meet there at 930...I had no idea where the fountain was but I said I'm sure I'll find it....I didn't cause there was no water coming from it. I met up with the Dartmouth gang and they said it was way over at the other end....so we didn't meet there and I'm sure some of the team will say something tomorrow about us not being there but hey...I'll know better next year. Anyway I was going to run a bit but I took my bag to put in the baggage area but I got there and they decided not to do the baggae thing so I had to carry it on the walk with me. We finished it and met up with some H&R employees and I thought we might go eat somewhere but everyone pretty much went home. Me and Jo went with Pete cause we didn't have a way cause Matt dropped us off in the morning so we went with him (after he remembered where he parked). We took Jo home but matt wasn't home so she came back here with us and then mom and lyd showed up and pete did his football picks and then me and him went to SMITTY'S!!! STRAWBERRY FRENCH TOAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow that is delecious. I had it a few years ago once and finally went there and had it again.

Now I'm home and mom and Lyd went up to the movies to bayers lake but I didn't feel like going...just doing some laundry now and getting my stuff together for tomorrow...Man monday sure comes fast.

And thats about it for today.

Mom is here all week so Jo is taking monday off, I have tuesday off, lyd has wednesday off (which means mailroom for me), she had plans thursday and then Jo has friday off again then its THANKSGIVING LONG WEEKEND, and dad will be back on Sat. YUMMY TURKEY!
