Is it done yet?

Didn't go shopping lastnight but we did go today. Went to home depot, zellers, superstore, hfx shopping center, went to do a call out, walmart and back to zellers and superstore and then came home. He still has a few people to pick up little things for. (he being Bill-which hopefully will be Tuesday). Last year we opened our gifts from each other, me,jo,matt, lyd and bill before we went home cause we didn't want to drag them home and then back up here again and I think this year we are doing it on Thursday cause me and lyd are leaving after work friday at 1pm.

I went into the Racquet ball club to see how much squash is and to check it out. It looks like a tough place but it should be ok. Its $8 a head (per day), or $60 for 10 visits or $175 for a 3 month pass (to play whenver you want). So I'll talk to Ang on monday to see what she thinks.

Came home wrapped a few presents that I bought and then made some PB cups. I made 2 doz for a lady at customs (who i saw today) and she gave me $20 for them which was nice. I guess I am famous for my PB cups.

Well its 8:40 and KC is playing so gonna go watch.

Xmas party

Its 1:30 am...when was the last time i've ever stayed up this late? I can't even recall. Although I was ready for bed at 9pm...I got awakend when I hit the fresh air.

Tonight was the company xmas dinner over in dartmouth. I took Brenda over and got there about 5ishpm. I was a bit nervous about the seating arrangements cause you just drew where you had to sit when you get there and I know NO ONE from Dartmouth. But turns out I knew everyone but 1 guy that I was seated with...so all was well. We ate and then drew for prizes then it was over about 830pm. I drove Brenda back home and then came here and MJ would call me when their ready to go downtown. They called a bit after 9pm and I went cause I told them a while ago that I would. I met them at H&R and me and peter went in my car, randy and natalie went in hers and ang and MJ went in Ang's. We all met down at Poefedo (not sure if thats how to spell it or not). Jason, Chris and a few others from the company met us there as well. Its a nice place. I love Chris..hes awesome. There was a bunch of us and we were sitting by a table at the window and it was freezing so we moved to another spot but there was only a few of us moving everyone while the rest were dancing and so i picked up as many coats and purses as i could and then there was alot more laying on a bench beside our table and Chris says "are these ours too?" and I said they were so he took all of them ones so me and then randy showed us where we're moviing too so me and chris both had handfuls of big winter jackets (about 20 all together) and then randy saw that someones elses coats where there so we didn't sit there so while they were deciding me and chris were standing in the middle of the bar with our arms full of jackets. We must have looked like idiots....we thought it was pretty funny. So we found a booth and then one side of it was all our jackets and we had to stand (I really think they should think about getting coat check. I think every club should have it). So a couple of them danced and me,ang and jason just sat and chatted. At 12:30 me,ang, jason and randy came home. We have such nice gentlemen at our work. Going to the bar Peter guided me and let me hang onto him so I wouldn't fall in my shoes on the ice and then afterwards Jason walked me to my car so I wouldn't have to walk by myself in the dark. They are the sweetest guys. Me and Jason left and we saw everyone going in while we were going out and I said you know your old when your leaving the bar while everyone else is just starting to go in.

I had a good time hanging out with them and getting to know a few of my fellow employees better. I've seen alot of them around I just hadn't spoken to them.

I told a lady at work, Dawn, about my appreciations about going to the party where I didn't know anyway so when we got there she came over to my table to see if I was ok with everything. She kept checking up on me. Shes very nice like that.

It was an o.k party but I don't know if i'd go next year or not.

I have tomorrow off..my last vacation day of the year (years almost over anyway). Probably help bill finish up xmas shopping if he didn't do it all tonight. and then sat. maybe study. I have to make another batch or two of pb cups this weekend sometime. surposed to get some snow and possibly freezing rain tomorrow night (friday).

It snowed on Friday night, woke up sat. morning and our parking lot wasn't plowed or sidewalks shoveled...its now sunday evening and it rained so now its all solid ice. Its a little upsetting cause our last landlords we had (we got new ones now) used to be out there as soon as it started snowing and kept things very clean and cleared. Yesterday morning I saw 9 cars get stuck in 2 hours (just in the drive way). I was surposed to study yesterday but I was so involved in peeping out the window...so thats what I did all day.
Today I studied though. Finished my xmas shopping on Thursday night and everything is all wrapped. I made som PB cups tonight and gonna freeze them cause a lady at customs usually wants me to make then for her so I'll get a head start and then when she comes looking for them then they will be made already.
Went to Livingston's xmas dinner with Billy. Went to some Japanize steak house in Bishops landing. They cook the stuff right at your table. It was very interesting. I had fun. Then I met Ang, MJ and Randy for some coffee at Perks.
Our xmas dinner is on thursday over in Dartmouth. Mom and Dad are coming up tomorrow for a few days I beleive.
Me and jo went xmas shopping thursday as I mentioned and we were looking at the purses and I picked one up and I looked in it and said "oh jo, this one even comes with brown pearls". I reached my hand in and scooped them up and turns out it was chocolate covered almonds...I was almost tempted to eat it....but I have no idea who dumped them in the purse. It was pretty funny. Me and jo laughed in the asile for a good 5 or so minutes. I If you don't think this was funny then you had to be there cause it was SOOOOOOOOOOOO funny.
