FIVE DOLLARS!!!!!
Its been a few weeks since I have wrote but surprisingly there is not much to tell (well its not all that surprising).
We did go down to the BT thing on New Year's Eve and I had alot of fun. Throughout the night I was standing there wondering why we have never done it before. Maybe this will be another tradition????
I have started "The Club" up in full force on Jan. 1/06. I now have 12 members and everyone is doing fantastic with their exerciseing. I am very proud of them all. If they don't do what they commit to every week for the month then they have to pay "The Club" a $1 each week that they don't. With 12 people and 2 weeks later we only have $5 in the jar. There may be more added this monday coming, not sure yet but it looks like everyone has done what they said.
Me and Ang have been playing squash over at the Raquetball and Fitness club as its the cheapest place now that we have to pay as the Dal students are playing in the free ones. I guess we never should've walked through the cafatriera with our raquets!
I have requested my CBSA exam on Monday and they sent it by mail on Tuesday and I thought it would be here now but maybe it'll come on Monday. At least it gives me one more weekend to look over the material.
I have started tanning (yep I have learned never to say never). Jo bought 50 some minutes last year and I called them at the first of Jan. and they said that they expire on Feb. 22,2006 so I thought I better start tanning. I'm pretty crazy when I go in there. The first time I thought the girl thought I was crazy cause I kept asking her if I can get out of the bed if I need to and if I can stop it if I need to. I am not clasturphobic but I thought that the bed closes all the way and locks or something....but it doesn't. Also Jo told me that her 1st time they only put her in for 2-3 minutes so when they said 7 I was like "SEVEN????"..but I did it anyway. 1st time I got in I thought it would be the longest 7 minutes of my life...then it was over and I thought that couldn't possibly have been 7 minutes cause if felt like 2. Then I waited a few weeks. I woke up last Sunday with a very sore throut and my body hurting and then Monday I wasn't well and Tuesday I said "I'm going to try the gym and see if I can sweat out the cold". So I did and my body felt better after that. (also i needed to go the rest of the week to get in my 5 days so i wouldn't have to pay $1 to "The Club"). Anyway that night I got home from work and thought maybe the tanning would help too so I went up for 9 and I felt very good about it. These two times I did not burn, and then lastnight I went again after squash (for 10 minutes this time and it felt like I was in there for 1 hour..I was scared the girl maybe typed in 100 instead of 10 my mistake and the whole time I was thinking...surely that has been 10minutes..maybe I should stop it and see..but yeh it was only 10 minutes, I guess my mind does crazy things when I'm in the bed) and I came out and didn't feel or see the burn until I got into bed and my sheets and clothes today irritated me...maybe it was cause I just finished exercising? I can't wait for the future Saturdays that I can really bake in the sun and get a real burn...nothing like the first burn of the summer...and then tan, tan, tan. Can you smell it? The best smell in the world.
Today got up about 7am (on a Saturday???) and took Bill downtown for a call out. I was walking out to the car this morning and I was wondering why anyone would want to sleep in on a day like today. (it was nice out).
Stopped at Tim's and then did the call out (he did, I sat in the car and read), then went grocey shopping at the Superstore on Barrington (I was lost when I went in as its not my "home store" and its laid out differently). I only went in for a "few things" and came out $130 poorer....but we have lots of food now. So then I brought it home and then went to the bank and then to Sports Check to see if they had anything...its all winter stuff. Then to Walmart to get my tuna. It was $1.19 at the superstore but always $.97 at Walmart (used to be $.80 some). Got some aspirins and vitimens and toothpaste and bought Bill a b-day gift which is a couple of weeks late.(although I did get him a golf shirt for FIVE DOLLARS....ITS ONLY FIVE DOLLARS)
On his b-day we watched some movies. Then the week after went to Jo and Matt's for game night and we played JEOPARDY!!! Its pretty fun. The whole gang was there.
After walmart Bill got paged again and we found this adventure store in Bayers Lake that I've never seen and its got lots of tents and stuff like that in it. I even found a guide to Guys. County..and New Harbour, Coddles Harbour and even DRUM HEAD (huh Devin....) in it. Ooops my mistake..first we went to Chapters then to this store. Then back to Tim's and then downtown again. Then to Joe Howe superstore cause I had to pick up a prescription that I called in a few weeks agao and of course no one could find it so I ordered it all over again. So while waiting the 20 minutes I went shopping and found a bunch of stuff for $5. Did someone say FIVE DOLLARS????????? Did it fit? I don't know..it was only FIVE DOLLARS!! (but yeh it fit. i got some pants we can play football in....HINT HINT...anyone out there like football????? and i got another pull over shirt and another zip up shirt/jacket thing....all for just FIVE DOLLARS each.
After that went to the other bank and came home and showed lyd what all I got for FIVE DOLLARS.
GOTTA GO EAT SUPPER!!
