Unemployed no longer.

On Tuesday I found out that I didn't get the job at Harris and Roome and I was a little bit dissapointed but I figured if I was ment to be there then it would have happened. So I put out lots more resumes. On Wednesday Faye invited me and Philip to lunch but Philip got an interview so he couldn't make it. I went and I had a great time. I don't usually get to hang out with her much. We had kraftdinner and some ham and cheese things and some homeade whole wheat biscuts (they were made with whole wheat flour anyway). It was some good. Then we watched some Tv and then I left about 230pm cause I had to run some errands before I picked up Lyd from work. Went to walmart and got some stuff I needed..well that was the intention and then i got there and got other stuff but what I needed. (i looked at my list before I went and after I left and didn't get anything on it..stupid me). So then I went to chapters for to kill about 15 minutes of time. Then after I picked up Lyd we went to Blessings to get mom and grammie something for their B-day...man we didn't know what to get. We got them some stuff for their windows (suncatchers and another thing). So we came home and Bill was here waiting for us cause he came for supper. We had steak, rice, salad, green tomatoe chow chow and beets (i love that stuff). Then we watched some Jepordy and chatted. After he left we watched some of American Idol (started to then fell asleep as usual). So woke up this morning at my usual 7am (so much for sleeping in...well i kinda am cause i ain't getting up at 530am anymore). Drove Lyd to work and then came home and did a bit of a new Bible study that I bought yesterday about Prayer. Then my prayer got answered at 10am when the president from Harris and Roome called and said that the lady who hires is on vacation and he was under the impression that the positon was taken and for some reason now its not....so he asked me if I was still interested and of course I said yes...worth a try..right? Hopefully it will be more then a week job but hey ..i'll check it out...see how i feel there.
Its a little less pay then Livingston but not too much. So thats the story so far. Didn't do all that much today..just relaxed because its my last free day. Lyd called at 4pm and decided to walk home. Good for her. I skipped the gym today and just did the eleptical and some at home exercies. We didn't go to the strip aerobics lastnight cause jonis friend didn't go and she felt more comfortable if she went so we didn't go....maybe next wednesday. Well i gotta start making supper cause Bill is coming again and lyd will be starving with the walk home...just having macroni and tomatoes. We are going home this weekend for mom and grammies bday..lyds got an appt. so i'll be coming back sometime on sunday with jo and matt and then lyd will be back on monday. I hope this job turns out so I can go get some new work clothes...gonna go shopping with jo next week as well for her trip to mexico on april 1 (TIBERON). Well its been an hour and lyd is still not home...I think she said she was walking???????????????????

Unemployed and Loving it

February 27th huh..i've been so slack.
To sum it all up in a few sentences. I finished work at Livingston on Feb.25th. Went to work at Rio on Feb. 28th and finished there on March 4th (yep its true..one week.) I so didn't like it there..it just wasn't for me. Nice people and nice work..just not my style. So on Monday March 7th, I called them and said I wasn't coming back. So since then I have been unemployed. I'm not worried about finding another job cause I already had an interview on Friday at Harris and Roome (10 minute walk from here) It went well and rumor has it that they called Charlie for a reference and he gave me a good one. So we will see.
I am having such a relaxing time being unemployed. Lastnight went to church and then went to eat at Wendy's with Faye and Philip and we had a nice chat. Was there for a few hours...i had a wonderful time with them. If me and Philip are still unemployed on Wed. then we are going to Fayes for lunch. She usually goes to a school on Wed. and means its March Break then shes got the day off. So it should be fun.

Me and Lyds invited over to Bills for some speghetti tomorrow night and then on Wed I'm going to some strip areobics thing with Jo and her friend Erin. They went last week and said it was fun. They also did some ab class and after the areboics there is cardio salsa that we might do so I'm interested in seeing what all this is like. Its a nice change from Curves all the time.

I haven't got too lazy with my time off. I have been going to the gym and eating pretty good for not doing anything all day. But I have had a thing for coke this week (no not the drug)..today I've had 2 cans already..thats not good. I should be drinking water like I used to but the last few days I've had a craving for coke. Its my new water.

Jo and matt will soon be off to Mexico..April 1st. Time for the tiberon. Vickys wedding on April 16th,...trip to Moncton..can't wait.

Not much else to say at the moment...I'll keep you all posted on the job hunting.
