Parents are Coming
The parents are coming up tomorrow till Friday I think, I got friday off..i will only see the boss one day this week and thats tomorrow (monday) cause hes gone to toronto on tues, wed and thurs and i'm gone friday...yeahhhh
I ended up going to the xmas dinner for our work lastnight at Boondocks in Eastern Passage...couldn't find anything to wear (but i do have lots to wear, but i'm a girl and we can never find anything to wear) so about an hour before i had to leave i went up to Jacob Connection in Bayers Lake and bought some pants and a sweater..I like them. So each person in the social club got $80 so B bought my supper..its was pretty good, had a greek salad and some spicey chicken and vegies and baked potatoe. Had 2 peieces of chicken but it was way too spicey for me so B ate one of the peices..it was funny cause there was the sauce over the chicken and some things in the sauce that looked like french fries..so I said "hey i didn't know it came with french fries too" and i was pretty excited so i took a big bite and turns out its not french fries..its turnip or something...but F gave me some of her fries. Didn't get desert. B had about $30 left over after our meals were paid for and he was allowed to take that home so that was good. All of the people for work were there and their dates..except 2 people.. it turned out quite nice..better then I expected..everyone got along great. Had some fun.
Not much going on in my life right now..excited about going home for xmas..haven't been there since vacation in September. As I stated earlier the parents are coming up tomorrow so we gotta get the house clean, its pretty clean already..L just did the dishes and swept and vaccumed and stuff so it looks good.
Desperate housewives is on tonight..it was a repeat last week...Final survivor is on as well..probably be asleep before then. I have a huge headache and I've got the sniffles..had them for a few days..hopefully be over them this week sometime. Well G gave me and L a present and I knew it was chocolate so I got into it yesterday...very good, thanks G!! I didn't eat it all yet cause theres alot there.
Watched football today. Bangels and New England..NE won...sorry Matt!! KC plays Tennesse tomorrow night, we'll see how that goes. I don't think they'll make it to the playoffs..but hey, who knows.
If ya wanna good book to read pick up "The Partner" by John Grishom...very good book and also "Blow Fly" by Patricia Cornwell although you should read her other books before that one so you will know whats going on.
