Too Much Iced Tea
Its 2400 (12am) and I just got home...I said we would be home by 2300 but I would have been but had to drive one of L's friend home that came with us..had quite a busy day.
Still had the headache when I got up this morning, and I wanted to stay in bed but I got up and hit the malls to do a bit of xmas shopping, L's friend went shopping with us for some party clothes for two xmas parties she is going to. Got to the mall at 11:30 and was still there at 4:30 and I decided to call J and ask her what time we're leaving for the parade of lights (some people call it the electric parade) and she said between 4:30-5:00...i thought it started at 7pm but it didn't, it started at 6..so needless to say we took off right away and went home got changed and went downtown. Never did get to the football store that i wanted to go to in the micmac (must go sometime this week).
Anyway got downtown about 5:45 and M,J and B was waiting for us and then G,D,R and D showed up and we were waiting for A (who i don't think showed up at all). So me, M,J,B,K,G &L went to scotia square and was going to tims but the line up was so long that we thought we would miss the parade so a few of us went to the second cup and got some hot drinks then we went outside and the sidewalks were packed. But the floats were high so we got to see them (they were better then lastyear, except that there was like 3 grinch floats, but other then that it was all good (not as cold as lastyear though) and we got to see Santa..so now the season is underway.
Someone said that it would be 2&1/2 hours long but it was over in 50min. so me, M,J,B,K,G&L went to the lower deck to eat while D,R,D & A (if she ever showed) went back home. Got a table by the band..but it was way too close cause we couldn't hear anything except them..couldn't even hear the person beside us talk..so we got up and moved into the back room. We got our food, chatted for about an hour and then hit the casino...i went in with $20 and came out with $50..B did also while K broke even and the rest lost (as far as I know). So then we left there at about 10pm (wow...we are night owls) so me and L took B home and then drove K out to her house (long way if you don't know where it is...but for some reason seems shorter on the way home). So a good day and night had by all.
M's lending me his game cube..i'm so excited and him and J are going to mexico in April and I offered to drive them to the airport and pick them up but i said only if i can drive the tiberon (maybe it'll have a bangels plate on it by then) and he said i could...so I'm very very excited about that. I think we are looking after Louie for them while their gone to (we'll have to stock up on some paper plates).
No jokes today...but my WoW is - Don't drink 3 cans of ice tea in a row..and if you give someone your cell number to get a hold of you...then make sure you turn the ringer up so you can hear it.
