this week
The picture below that I posted lastnight is just a joke picture kinda. Its my new jeans and I wanted to see how they looked.
Tuesday at work I got an email from Lucia asking if wanted to go to the Dixie Chicks concert. I only know a few of their songs but I thought it would be nice to get out and do something. So for $112 I got dinner and a concert with some people from Fraser & Hoyt.
At 530 I met them downtown at the World Trade and Convention Center and we had a buffet meal in their Windows room. I was really good. And they also had a desert buffet as well. Lots of cheese cakes (which i don't like) but they did have some pies and sweets as well. I had the blueberry pie and it was awesome. Then at 730 went to the concert and we didn't even have to wait in like...we just walked right in as we had special tickets. We had pretty good seats as well. The concert was over around 1030-11pm and I parked at Scotia Square so we just sat there with the car off waiting for the traffic and then someone stopped and waved us to go so up we started the car and took off. The was very nice of whoever did that. Thank you very much. I dropped of Lucia and then came home and couldn't sleep so I watched Big Brother that Lyd taped and didn't go to bed till about 1-130. It was a good night. I still wouldn't go out and by the Dixie Chicks cd but I had fun. At first when we sat down I thought "man this is some small" and then I realized why I thought that is because I was just to Bon Jovi outdoors and there tonnes more people and more space.
Mom and dad came up on Sunday evening and Monday me, jo, dad and matt went golfing and then we didn't do to much the rest of the day. Tuesday mom and dad went down to Bridgewater to stay and jo and matt headed to montreal. I have to go pick them up tomorrow at the airport I think at 4pm. I haven't been spending too much time with their cats. just at lunch to feed them. I should go up today. I was surposed to have my annual BOTP (BBQ on the park (clayton park) ) but no one can make it this year. Also at work we were planning on going out tonight but again only 3 of us could go and no one else so we're waiting for another time.
Its very nice out today but its cold. Summer is officially over. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
I'm just doing some laundry this morning and probably go up to Jo's and then maybe for a walk in the trails.
Thursday night me and dad went golfing and it was the worst game I have ever played, I think it was way worse then the first time I was ever out. We went around 5-530 and there was 3 people in front of us and they took FOREVER. When there is people behind you (and there was behind us as well) you don't take 10 minutes to look for your ball. On the 2nd hole we played the group in front of us was just sitting at the 3rd tee so I assumed that they would let me and dad go through because we were faster. As soon as we putted and got ready to go to the 3rd hole they finally got up and teed off.....that made me so mad. What were they waiting for before? there was no one in front of them....URGGGHHHH. Dad wasn't too happy either I think and he just said that some people are like that. So anyway the 2 people behind us were waiting with us at the 3rd hole and dad thought they were faster so he told them they could go first so they did and we had more ball lookers.....so about this time I just said ok, I don't care anymore and I just hit and didn't care if I did good or not.
At one point though we had a laugh. On one of the holes dad was on the other fairway and he said he was going to put it up over the trees...he hit it fair into the tree in front of him and bounced even further out in the fairway. And I thought that was really funny and then he hit again and we started walking up the fairway...got almost to the green and I was thinking, where is my ball....turns out I forgot to hit it...it was still back where I left it....so I had to go back and hit it....luckly no one was behind us at this time. Anyway then met Mom and Lyd at walmart.
I forgot to mention that at the Dixie Chicks concert I met up with April Hart (we graduated together) and she mentioned that it'll be 10 years in 2007 since we graduated....so its time for the High School Reunion....I can't wait....I think most everyone is married and has a kid except for a few of us.
Well thats about all at this moment.
