DECISIONS
I have a decision to make by monday morning.
I was asked into the office this morning by the boss and he offered me a different position in the office that they are hiring for. Now I would make the same amount of pay but I would do different stuff. The big decision is do I want to lose my freedom. The reason I say this is because although the job would be more challenging for me and I would get to learn more stuff...if I took this position I wouldn't get to go to customs like 50 times a day (or so they think I'm going to customs...mostly in the summer i just go for a stroll..take the long way to and from customs...also I love the customs officiers and i wouldn't get to hang with them anymore), and I wouldn't get to flirt with all the couriers (especially those purolator men) and also my desk would be around everyone elses and I wouldn't have as much privicey anymore as I do over at my reception desk (where no one can see me emailing all day) and also before today I was seriously considering leaving the company...(still might cause thats what i'm doing tonight..looking on the job sites), and with this position you have the boss over your shoulder all the time (at least the last guy did). So thats what I have to think about this weekend.
I feel its time for a change.
What did the Atlantic Ocean say to the Pacific Ocean?
Nothing..it just waved.

I'm not really about all the new job, new challenges, more experience, etc because when I was working in the summer with all the property stuff for the experience I just couldn't wait to get back at reception. Maybe if you leave reception I'll apply for your job as it offers more money than what I'm presently making now.
I think that if your ready for a change and can't really stand it at work then go find something else, ie Curves. You should really look into that I think.
