Where do I start
Hummmmmmm...where do I begin as it has been a few weeks....how about at the beginning.
Sunday,Oct.1 - Run for the cure which I wrote about
Monday,Oct.2 - Had Dr's appt but just a lady type check up. My regular doctor is off for 4 month traveling the world so I walked in and this new guy looked like George off of Grey's Attomeny...he said that I was the 2nd person that day that told him that. He has never seen the show so he had no idea who I was talking about. Anyway I went in and he was getting all the stuff prepared and he was searching through all the cupboards and drawers looking for the "stuff" that he needed and he said "don' t mind me its my first day and i'm not sure where anything is"...WHAT??? Then he clarified that it wasn't his first day as a Dr. but just his first day that the clinic taking over for my reg. dr. So he found the stuff and left the room and told me to get prepared so I did and then I heard a knock on the door and he came back in and said that he was very sorry but he skipped over a patient...so I asked him if he wanted me to get back dressed and go back out and wait but he said that I could stay in that room and he'll take this other patient in another room so I was laying there for about 10 minutes and finally he came back and then it went pretty smooth from there. Everything is A OK with me. Went to gym
Tuesday,Oct.3 - Mom was up for the week while Dad was away so I took this day off to spend with her. We went out shopping for her and then for me. She got some clothes and I got a pair of boots...boots that finally fit my leg. I've tried on hundreds and they were all too big around my calves until this pair so I grabbed them...actually my ma did and bought them for me...Thanks Ma. I am still getting compliments on them when I wear them. I love my boots. Also had our learn to run this day as well.
Wednesday,Oct.4 - Lyd took this day off so I did mail room this day and reception in the afternoon.
Thursday,Oct.5 - Today was the first day of our xmas committe meeting...not much happened in it. Just seeing who the members where and stuff like that. Went to gym.
Friday, Oct 6 - Had my regular 6-8 week hair cut with Orla down at Thumpers. Met bill afterwards and drove him home.
Saturday,Oct 7- Went out to Bedford Running Room and bought some sneakers as well as Jo did too. Also had to get my passport pictures redone as there was a flash on my forehead and the passport people didn't like that so had to get it all signed again. Dad's plane was surposed to leave Regina at 6am but they didn't get out of there till 9 and almost missed their flight in Toronto but the plane in Toronto knew that there was still a few from that delayed plane going to Halifax so he waited and they just got on. Didn't even think that their luggage wouldn't make it. So Mom cooked the turkey all day and got all the supper ready then her and Lyd went out to the airport to get them. Meanwhile Timmy, Jody, Jo, Matt, Bill and I were sitting here waiting for them to get back so we could eat. They were late so mom told us to cook everything and they would get whatever when they got back. So we at but waited for them to come home before we had some dessert. The food was fantastic. We watched the DVD that Uncle Paul made for Dad of the trip and hunting and then went to bed.
Sunday, Oct 8 - The luggage arrived at around 1030 this morning I beleive. Mom and Dad got ready and then took off around 2pm. I don't remember doing much this day.
Monday, Oct 9 - Went to Smitty's by myself for some Stawberry French toast which was great but very sweet after a while...couldn't eat it all. This was off couse a vacation day as it was Thanksgiving.
Tuesday, Oct 10 - Had the Learn to Run thing again in Bedford this evening. Its very fun. Also went to a late movie with Pete "The Departed"...everyone gets shot.
Wednesday, Oct 11- Went to the gym and took the class Body Pump (weights)
Thursday, Oct 12 - Bad accident on the 102 to Pete came over after work until traffic died down...he left at 830pm and it still took him an hour to get out to Sackville.
Friday, Oct 13 - Now this was a fun evening. Randy and Peter came over and then we went downtown about 12pm/am..whatever midnight and we went to the Alehouse. It was Randy's last hoopla before his wifes Chemo started so we wanted him to have a good time and I think he did. We asked a few more people to come but no one did...I surpose this had something to do with the fact that it was just planned that day...and I being the loser that I am didn't have any plans....if I did then I would have cancelled them anyway for Randy.
Saturday, Oct 14 - Got up around noon. Went to Dairy Queen for a sundae, then went to DRUM with Jo, Matt and Lyd. This I recommend to everyone that can see it. Its awesome.
